According to data of December 2003 180 enterprises and organizations, which represented about 80% of industrial potential of the region, were the members of the Chamber. These are enterprises of machine-building, chemical, petrochemical, machine-tool, instrument-making, electronic, light industries. Members of the Chamber are also bank and insurance companies, scientific institutions, publishing organizations, private entrepreneurs. Among members of the Chamber there are more than 65% of enterprises of small-scale and medium-scale business which are the foundation of membership base. Increase of their part is a natural and important process which is typical for many countries of the world.
During 10 years the Chamber has mastered more than 70 kinds of services. Today in Kursk CCI there is an experienced staff with higher education. About 80% of them worked on probation and were retrained in different departments of CCI of Russian Federation, Russian Academy of management and market, Rospatent, and also abroad
